Jesus a Guest In the House of a Pharisee

This short section in Luke is an important second witness to its subject besides the longer similar passages in Matthew. It is the second of eleven sections of the journey to Jerusalem which began at Lk 9:51.

In Galilee, Part V

This short section is the final prelude to the Journey to Jerusalem, which although taking up one chapter of Mark and two chapters of Matthew, takes up over nine chapters of Luke. That journey will take the Lord to His ministry in Jerusalem, followed by His passion and resurrection.

It's already excluded

Amazing that most people's religion is put together in a way that "just happens" to affirm their strengths and ignores their weaknesses. Luckily, Paul, in Romans 3:27, says "Where therefore is the boasting? It was shut out!"
